ABOUT THE STYLE:
This beer falls into the category of spice beer, with a generous amount of ginger added in different stages you have a nice balance between malt and the flavor complexities of ginger. Some ginger is added to the boil, so a sweeter cooked ginger flavor is detectable; some ginger is added during the fermentation, so a spicier, fresh, raw ginger flavor is also present. The beer is fermented dry, thus it is not very sweet, it’s a beer first.
